Central to the practice of remixing and collaborative creation is the principle of relinquishing individual control in favour of collective immersion. Both the remixer and collaborators must adopt a responsive and adaptive approach, prioritizing dialogic engagement with the material and the creative contributions of others. This relinquishment fosters an environment conducive to discovery, wherein the emergent work transcends the limitations of individual vision.
Firstly, and most importantly it has been an honour to work with Tomo-Nakaguchi, A Dancing Beggar, Russ Young & OdNu in creating this album.

“The Wind Swept All The Colours”, is a collaborative audio-visual project by Michel Mazza - Music composer and Sound designer based in Hudson, New York - USA.
And Ralf Moussa Cinematographer and multidisciplinary based in Beirut - Lebanon.
A work that took place remotely between New York & Beirut over the period of 2 months where OdNu and Ralf took into function different techniques and points of relevance into their disciplines of choice, from analog to digital processes.

The album "The Wind Swept All the Colours" weaves together orchestral themes, heavily manipulated loops, field recordings, synthesizers, guitars and distortion, creating a vivid auditory experience akin to a film playing in your imagination. Drawing from the realms of orchestral music, IDM, ambient, and microsound, it delves into themes of drama, suspense, and at times, dark humour, painting a picture of a dusty, polluted landscape filled with particles that taint everything.

"I've always struggled with creative insomnia, with shifting sleep patterns deeply influencing my music. The album ‘Time is a Place’ was recorded over two weeks during nights of waking around midnight, half asleep, and improvising with my electric guitar until 4am. Each session became a track, resulting in an album with dreamlike qualities, to guide the listener through surreal, melting landscapes."

Out Now: Odnu new album "Ronroco Rococo Memories"
Released May 18th, 2024 on Audiobulb Records
Inspired by the ronroco album of Gustavo Santaolalla, OdNu uses the ronroco as a source of sound and takes it to new territories by exploring sound deconstructions and decomposing it through effects chains that include a modular system, Zoia patches and a Blooper to create a lush palette of sounds that even though they have originated from the Ronroco it's at times hard to imagine its source. The album is also full of bubbling rococo ronroco arpeggios that exude melancholic melodies supported by the addition of synth sounds and field recordings. All of these elements takes the album outside of the world music realm and into an experimental micro sound and textural dreamscape full of subconscious memories from OdNu's Argentinian past.

"Lejano", OdNu’s new full length ambient music release date will be sometime in August. The album will come with an accompanying digital book with artwork by Michel Mazza and writings by idiiom.
The music for Lejano is the product of two years of experimenting and recording with midi guitar. OdNu found a way to improvise, record and perform by using the midi guitar to trigger different sounds and samples of his own recordings. Each song on Lejano is an improvisation following this process and each song was recorded in just one take.
The results are as unique and interesting as the process. On each track you’ll find melancholic guitar melodies that lead you through mesmerizing and densely textured landscapes. These ambient experimental landscapes feel like foreign atmospheres, like lost sentences in letters that forgot to be sent, like dreams flooding to the surface, like objects falling in slow tumbling winds, like clouds of syncopated mystery. We recommend that you lie down on the floor while listening and enjoy the fall in….
